Two leaflets on the issue of online gambling were
published here today for which a hearing has been scheduled
in the coming days in Cedar Rapids before Senator Majority
Leader Bill First and Iowa Congressman Jim Leach who will
handle the proceedings.
The first report provides the comments by a featured
website against the projected online casino & gambling
bill by a top official. Fifteen justifications were
given to counter of the bill for which the reasons in the
report constitute the opposition include intervention of the
bill with personal freedom, the bill will not work and it’s
ability to force online casino and offshore gambling. The
main foundation behind this disagreement is its inability to
protect under aged. The most imperative reason behind the
resistance was that bill can go against United Nations
International trade obligations and the verdict.
The subsequent report provides incongruity to the ban
imposed by the editorial. This flyer shows facts about
American hold up for online gambling. OGMF has gathered the
polling information and editorials published in the leading
newspapers has created the overpowering opposition by
Americans against Rep. Leach’s oppressive legislative
approach. Leading the media and publication like USA Today,
San Diego Tribunal Union, Arizona Star and Sports
Illustrated has opposed the bill through their editorials. A
copy of the two flyers would be available for those who
attend the field hearing tomorrow.
OGMF explains that recognized business organizations like
the autonomous group of people Bankers of America is also
targeting the bill. The main reason behind this increasing
antagonism is that it can block expenses between U.S
inhabitants and online casinos. The ICBA and American
Bankers Association is worried that enforcing this energetic
bill would be oppressive. So, the future of online casino
depends upon the next hearing. We will have to hang around
till then, to see the fallout of this huge opposition.
